A gentle rant about nostalgia and expectations from my commute notes

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 5 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

> Tiny progress is still progress.

That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where emulation stopped feeling new.

Maybe, but the tradeoff seems bigger than the post suggests. The chaotic constraint is probably the real story.

My version of this was messier, but the conclusion was similar. This is more useful on a tired Monday morning than on a perfect day. That final turn energy is unbeatable.

This reminds me of something a friend in Cape Town mentioned. The cozy constraint is probably the real story.

I found this disappointing because it skips the hardest part. The the kitchen detail changes the whole answer. I can already hear the menu music.

The gentle angle is what sold me. A little friction removed goes a long way.

This has cozy competence written all over it. I keep a note about arcade for exactly this reason.
