Got a phone call about a "suspicious wallet withdrawal" lol nice try

Scammer called from a spoofed local number, sounded weirdly professional, and told me they could help secure my assets if I verified some account details. When I acted confused, they started throwing jargon at me like confetti.

Felt worth posting because phishing isn't just emails anymore. The fake call-center crypto support thing is very much a thing.

Spoofed local numbers make older relatives way more vulnerable to this stuff.

I ask them to explain blockchain in one sentence and they usually short circuit.

Good reminder. People still picture scammers as bad email grammar only.

This guy honestly sounded more polished than some real support agents

Nobody from a wallet can help you reverse self-custody by phone. That's the whole joke.

The voice scams are getting more common. They want you flustered, not informed.
