new kitten purrs while biting the blanket. comfort thing or redirect-needed thing?

About 10 weeks old, recently weaned before the rescue got him. At night he'll knead, purr, and gently chomp one specific fleece blanket for maybe five minutes. Doesn't seem frantic. I know little suckling behaviors can happen, just curious what others saw and whether it faded.

Mine did that on a sherpa throw until age 2 and then mostly stopped.

If he's not shredding/eating fabric I'd just monitor and mention it at the next vet visit.
