OXY is where my value side and my 'don't predict commodities' side arm wrestle

I get why people like it: cash flow when the tape cooperates, understandable assets, Buffett halo effect, cleaner story than some peers. I also know I am not built to forecast oil with any confidence.

So I treat it like a cyclical value name with strict sizing, not like some forever compounder just because a famous person owns it.
