went to a grief group tonight and nobody tried to fix me

I nearly turned around in the parking lot. Instead I went in, said three shaky sentences, and a room full of strangers just nodded like they understood that surviving the grocery store some weeks is somehow the whole event. No breakthrough movie moment. Just less alone on the drive home.
