I keep wanting Citi to work and Citi keeps reminding me why the multiple is the multiple

Every now and then I see the valuation, tell myself the turnaround is finally gaining traction, and think maybe this is the easy re-rate. Then I listen to management and remember there is nothing easy about giant legacy complexity.

I still watch it because when hated banks turn, they can move fast. But wow does this one demand faith I do not naturally possess.
