vet says my maine coon is 'big framed' AND chunky, which felt rude

Moose is 3 and apparently the phrase was "we need to see a waist again." He's already acting betrayed over the measured portions. Anyone else have a large breed cat who packs it on fast even though they seem active?

Our guy needed the biggest baby scale at the clinic and then still had to lose 1.5 pounds. puzzle feeders helped a ton.
