missing my old copilot extra hard tonight

This is Rico, my chihuahua, on one of our last little drives to the coast last spring. He rode shotgun for fourteen years through breakups, two apartments, and exactly zero sensible financial decisions. Had to put him down in June and some days it still hits sideways when I grab my keys.

Lost my old girl in February. The random waves do get less sharp, but they still sneak up. Be gentle with yourself.
