gym friend films every set and I'm in the background of all of them

We go around 6:30am, pretty empty, and he's genuinely nice. But lately every squat, every bench, every cable row is getting filmed 'for form check' and my sleepy little goblin warmup is behind half the clips. Is there a non-weird way to say please don't archive my existence?

Just say it plainly. 'Hey man, I don't really want to be in videos, can you angle it different?' Totally normal.

Form check became content creation real fast at my gym. You're not weird for hating it.

If he's decent he'll fix it immediately and be embarrassed he didn't think of it.

You can even make it about work/privacy if that feels easier than saying it bugs you.

yeah I think I need a simple sentence instead of silently resenting the tripod

I stopped training with one buddy over this. Felt dramatic at the time, feels peaceful now.
