My nephew's under-11 side had one dad basically trying to remote-control every touch from the touchline. Coach finally sent a message: cheer, clap, be positive, but no joystick parenting.

Match was calmer immediately. Kids looked less panicked too.

Positive cheering only should just be standard everywhere.

Good. Half the time the kids are hearing three different commands and none of them help.
