SCHW after the panic: cheap scar tissue or permanent trust issue?

I didn't buy during the regional-bank meltdown because I couldn't tell whether I had conviction or just adrenaline. Looking back, that may have been a miss, but I still don't know how to handicap reputational hits in a business built on people parking money.

Anybody here still doing fresh work on Schwab?

Hard for me to own because the business is more interest-rate-sensitive than the app aesthetic suggests.

App aesthetic as a factor model made me laugh, and also yes.

I bought some when everybody was posting apocalypse charts. Not heroic size, just enough to make me pay attention.

If they get back to boring, the multiple probably heals. The question is how long boring takes.

I think the market confused 'messy funding mix' with 'broken franchise' for a while.

Schwab users are insanely sticky until they aren't. That's not helpful but it's how I think about it.
