We started spelling W-A-L-K and the poodle learned that too

I wish I were joking. We switched to spelling it out at dinner because saying the word launched a full spin routine. After about two weeks, he apparently decoded the letters and now reacts to that too. Next step is semaphore I guess.

We had to switch from 'treat' to 'snack' and then from 'snack' to 'the thing'. Dog caught up every time.
