cordless drill for an apartment person: worth it or do i just keep borrowing my neighbor’s

I assemble furniture, hang curtain rods, occasionally drill pilot holes into old plaster and then question my choices. Nothing major, but enough that the borrow-shame is building. If you bought one for light use, did it earn its keep?

A compact 12v drill is plenty for apartment life unless your walls are made of vengeance.

The tool part is easy, it is the reality part that gets you.

If you hit old plaster or masonry a lot, the exact model matters more.

Get bits too. Half the struggle is owning a drill with exactly one sad bit.
