sports games got so obsessed with card packs they forgot to be fun for couch people

Had friends over, bought the newest football game thinking we would do a dumb tournament like old times. Half the menu is shiny currencies and daily objectives now. We just wanted to pick bad teams and heckle each other.

Maybe im old but the whole thing felt like a mall kiosk.
