raw feeding fight in my house and I am tired

Spouse went down a YouTube rabbit hole and is now convinced commercial raw is the answer to everything from coat quality to dental health. Our vet was basically like 'please don't make this your first nutrition adventure.' I'm stuck in the middle because I do think better food matters, but I also don't want to play bacterial roulette in a small kitchen with an immunocompromised parent who visits a lot. Anyone successfully de-escalate this debate without it becoming a marriage summit?

Our compromise was high-quality canned plus dental care instead of pretending chunks of meat are a toothbrush.
