kidney disease plot twist: now she only wants sink water

14 year old, newly diagnosed, on the royal expensive wet food journey. For years I bought fountains and fancy bowls and she ignored them. This week? She stands in the bathroom and yells until I turn on the tap to a tiny trickle. If this keeps her hydrated I guess I'm a butler now, but has anyone turned a sink addict back into a normal drinker?

My CKD cat did the same. I put a fountain right beside the sink and eventually she accepted the downgrade.

Ask your vet when they want to talk fluids. not saying you're there, just good to know early
