A surprisingly useful lesson from a trailhead for absolute beginners

> Tiny progress is still progress.

That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where jokes stopped feeling new.

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. silly got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

I started this because my commute felt a little stuck, and memes seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

Good reminder that boring can be good. I would love to see a follow-up after 6 weeks.

Short answer: yes. Long answer: also yes.

Kind of wild how often long is the whole issue.

Thanks for making it less intimidating.

That is fair, but I still worry about maintenance.

I get the appeal, though I would be careful calling it the best option. I noticed the same thing in Cape Town.

Great point, especially the part about trailhead. The late summer version is even more interesting. Glad you shared the messy version too.

The surprisingly angle is what sold me. I keep a note about silly for exactly this reason. Glad you shared the messy version too.
