conference booth was mostly a waste, but the dinner after absolutely was not

We spent too much on a booth, gave away stress balls nobody wanted, and collected a heroic number of badge scans from people who will never buy. The real value came from dinner with two operators I already sort of knew, where they introduced us to a buyer three weeks later. I guess the lesson is "events" and "actual relationships" are not the same line item.
