First night with our puppy and I forgot how loud a tiny creature can be

We brought Junie home yesterday. The crate by the bed helped a little, but there was still a 2:11am protest, a 3:40am whimper, and one mysterious angry squeak at 5. I know this part passes. Right now I look like I lost a fight with a spreadsheet.
