do you ever skip openings if the song is good enough to legally count as self-care?

I have friends who skip every OP automatically and that feels spiritually bleak to me. Some openings are part of the meal. Some are a little too spoilers-as-slideshow.

Curious where people land.

Never skip on a first watch unless the visuals are basically a police report of future plot points.
