ENPH drawdown psychology is worse when you used to feel smart about the position

Bought when residential solar enthusiasm was everywhere, added on the way down because I thought I was being brave, and then discovered there is a fine line between bravery and averaging into a thesis that's breaking faster than you admit.

I still think the company is real. The stock though? That thing taught me that leadership status can evaporate long before your identity as a clever investor does.

Drawdowns expose whether your thesis had timing assumptions hiding inside it.

One thing I watch now: if management is executing but customers are frozen, I stop averaging and just wait.
