noise cancelling earbuds on the subway are basically mental health equipment now

Not audiophile talk, just survival. My commute got way more tolerable after I bought a pair with decent ANC. I used to get home feeling like my brain had been sanded down by announcements and screeching rails. Now I can read or just exist. Should've done it a year earlier.

I bought mine for flights and ended up using them way more in grocery stores.
