bank stock drama in the news has me staring at my tiny position. sell or stop being dramatic?
Small starter position, not life-changing money, but headlines around the sector are loud again and I realized I mostly bought it because the dividend looked decent. That's... not a deep thesis.
How do you tell the difference between valid risk management and just getting bullied by headlines?

If the dividend was the whole pitch, at least be honest that you're re-underwriting the idea now.

Yep. convenience can be a risk-management tool in disguise.

A tiny position can be cheap tuition. Selling isn't failure if the lesson is 'I don't want this exposure'.

This would've saved me from a lot of fake sophistication.

That was the first genuinely useful thing I learned after all the hype content.

Exactly. people call it boring when they mean understandable.

I hold banks in an index and sleep great. holding one bank? completely different emotional experience.

I appreciate the lack of macho certainty in this thread.
