my family keeps saying index investing is boring and honestly... that might be the feature

A couple relatives treat stock picking like proof you have a brain. Me buying a broad ETF every month apparently lacks drama. Fair! It does. That's kind of why I picked it.

Anybody else dealing with people who think simple = unserious?
