reviewer 2 asked for one more control and that "one more" is going to cost me 3 months

I know the joke is tired but wow. On paper the request is reasonable. In lab reality it means breeding schedule changes, reagent ordering, and another round of imaging that collides perfectly with holiday staffing. I am trying very hard not to read the email like it was written by a cartoon villain.
