Exchange locked my deposit for 7 days and now I understand every rant post

I deposited cash thinking I'd buy and immediately move my BTC off-platform. Nope. Hold period. Which apparently was explained somewhere in tiny person language.

I get why they do it, but wow it is annoying when you're new and trying to do the 'safer' thing by withdrawing to self-custody. Felt like I got assigned homework after trying to be responsible.
