pug did better at the rest stop than the humans did

We were dreading a six hour drive to see my in-laws because Tuna gets carsick in stop-and-go traffic. Turns out the dog was composed, my husband spilled coffee on himself, and I took the wrong exit outside Toledo. Tuna strutted around the grass patch like seasoned road crew.

Honestly when the dog is the most professional traveler in the car, that's a win.

Did you medicate for the carsickness or just raw dog it?

No meds this time, just no breakfast and a fan pointed at her crate. Ask your vet obviously, but that combo helped us more than the ginger chews ever did.

Wrong exit outside Toledo is a canon event.
