Moved savings out of a stablecoin yield thing after last year's mess

For a while I parked some sideline money in a stablecoin product because the yield button was right there and everybody online made it sound normal. Then a few blowups happened in the broader space and I realized I did not actually understand the stack of risks I was standing on.

I'm back to boring now. Lower return, lower heartburn.

Good move. Stablecoin plus yield product equals two layers to evaluate, not one.

Yep. If you can't explain where the yield comes from in plain English, maybe don't marry it.

I did the same. Learned that 6% can be extremely expensive if the principal gets weird.
