when rehoming, do you disclose every flaw up front or only the serious ones?

Helping a family member place a dog after a move. We're obviously disclosing medical stuff, bite history (none), separation issues, etc. Debate is whether to include all the silly/annoying quirks too, like hates ceiling fans or steals socks from laundry baskets.

Transparency avoids bounce-backs. Bounce-backs are harder on everybody.

Everything. Quirks become charm OR dealbreakers depending on the home.

I said depends on adopter. First-time dog owners need more details than seasoned weirdos.

If I adopted a dog and later found out it howled at ceiling fans I'd still want the laugh, but I would want the warning too.

Please include the sock thing because some of us are laundry goblins and need compatibility testing.

Major stuff is non-negotiable, but the weird little habits help match people.
