accumulating ETFs still feel fake to me because no cash hits the account

Intellectually I understand what's happening. Emotionally, a distributing fund feels like something happened and an accumulating fund feels like I'm just trusting a spreadsheet somewhere.

Did that weirdness fade for anyone else?

I still prefer distributing funds in one account and accumulating in another. pure brain management

The fake feeling went away after my first tax season because admin convenience became very real.
