6 year old invited the whole class except one kid. do I intervene?

Birthday party at the trampoline place. My daughter says the excluded kid 'is mean sometimes' and I know there has been some playground drama, but singling one child out from a class of 22 feels rough. I'm trying to balance her feelings with not teaching accidental cruelty.

Could you scale it down and call it a smaller party? Whole class invitations create these messes.

Ask the teacher for context maybe? Sometimes 'mean sometimes' covers a lot.

If it's the whole class except one, yes, I'd intervene. That lands hard at 6.

I get your daughter's point, but this is one of those parent-steering moments.

One-kid exclusion is brutal. I'd either include them or reduce the list significantly.
