The ambitious joy of doing the tiny repair badly at first after 12 tries

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 10 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

I started this because my late summer felt a little stuck, and trips seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

The detail that surprised me was how much a tiny balcony changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.

> Tiny progress is still progress.

That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where cities stopped feeling new.

I agree with the goal and disagree with the method. The cozy constraint is probably the real story.

I think both things can be true.

Exactly; the hidden cost is energy.

That is a surprisingly elegant way to frame it. This is where I would ask one more question before choosing.

Big fan of this approach. I keep a note about culture for exactly this reason.
