I finally moved coins off an exchange and slept better

Nothing dramatic happened. No scandal, no frozen account, no movie scene. I just realized I'd been leaving too much on one platform out of laziness, spent a Sunday learning the hardware wallet properly, did three tiny test sends, and immediately felt less exposed.
