read receipts in group chats are helpful and i am tired of pretending otherwise
If we are trying to coordinate dinner for eight adults, I would actually love to know who has seen the plan instead of watching thumbs float in the void for six hours. Privacy matters, yes. But group logistics without read receipts turns everybody into a passive-aggressive event planner by accident.
