small gratitude post for the shelter volunteer who said "give him three days"
She was right. Day one he hid behind the toilet. Day two he only came out at night. Day three he put one paw on my bed like he was signing a treaty. We've had him a year now and he sleeps by my shoulder. Some advice sticks forever.
