inheritance threads don't prepare you for the grief part

My dad died in spring and left me about 210k between cash and a brokerage account. Every discussion online jumps straight to tax lots and portfolio construction. Useful, sure. Also surreal when you're still hearing his voicemail in your head.

Where I landed for now:
keep 20k cash aside
sell the oddball stock picks gradually
move toward 70/20/10 stock/international/bonds overall
no crypto with this money even though I own a tiny BTC position elsewhere

Not really asking a question. Just saying the spreadsheets are easier than the feelings and that's been true every single week.

Taking crypto off the table for inherited money makes total sense to me.
