do you manually reinvest tiny dividends or wait until cash builds up?

My payouts are small enough that pressing buy every time feels silly, especially with fees. But leaving cash idle bugs me too. Curious what people with small accounts actually do instead of what sounds ideal.

The idle-cash guilt is real, but on tiny balances it's mostly emotional math.

'emotional math' is getting stolen for future use

I wait until contributions plus dividends reach my normal buy size. Zero romance, all practicality.

Yep, and a lot of us confuse more knobs with more control.

My broker has auto-reinvest for some funds only. Might be worth checking if yours does.

The internet sells confidence very cheaply; living with positions is the expensive part.

If there are no fees, reinvest whenever. If there are fees, don't donate them for the aesthetic of immediacy.

That became obvious only after I made the mistake, naturally.
