office snake plant survived the remodel, three managers, and a mysterious week with no ceiling

We found out today that nobody officially owns the front desk snake plant. It has just been there since at least 2018 surviving fluorescent light, missed waterings, and one intern who tried to polish the leaves with coconut oil for some reason. I think it should get a service award.

The second someone claims ownership it will decline out of spite.

Snake plants are less a species and more a labor union.

We had one in a windowless conference room for YEARS. I genuinely think it fed on gossip.
