memorial/gratitude: thank you for 17 loud weird years

Lost my old lady last week. She screamed before every meal, hated closed doors, and somehow knew when anyone in the house was crying. I keep reaching for the can opener softer now. Just wanted to say thanks to the kind of cat who teaches you a whole rhythm and then leaves it behind.
