CRSP is the kind of biotech position I have to size like a parking ticket

Love the science, or at least love reading about the science and pretending I fully grasp it. Hate how quickly the market can remind me that platforms are not products and timelines are not cash flows.

I keep a tiny position because if gene editing really does become standard care in more categories, I want some seat at the table. But it stays tiny so I can sleep like a civilian.

Biotech is where I learn humility with a medical vocabulary.

At least tiny speculative positions make boring winners feel even nicer.

There is a huge difference between promising science and investable equity timing.

Exactly. I believe in the field more than I trust my own clock.

I only touch these through ETFs now because one bad headline can turn my stomach inside out.

My rule: if I need to say platform this often, the position better be small.
