sold my btc at a tiny profit and immediately regretted it

I had this very disciplined speech prepared for myself about taking gains and being rational. Sold a chunk, price kept running a bit, and within 48 hours I was annoyed at myself from three different emotional angles.

Not even because of the number. More because I realized I don't actually know my own plan as well as I thought.

This is why having a plan before you're emotional matters. Your brain becomes a courtroom after the fact.

Everybody regrets something in crypto. Sell and it pumps, hold and it dumps. Welcome.

Nothing wrong with taking profit if that was the actual plan. The pain is usually when the plan was invented mid-candle.

The phrase 'tiny profit' tells me fees and taxes might've been the real winner.
