7 hour layover in Lisbon with carry-on only: worth leaving the airport?
Landing around 11am on a Wednesday next month. I've never been. No checked bag, no kids, just me and moderate airport competence. Worth doing a quick train into town or am I setting myself up to become one of those sprinting-gate people?

I did this last spring and just rode the metro, had lunch, wandered a square, came back. Perfect amount of city.

Doable. Pick ONE neighborhood, eat something, walk, leave. Don't try to 'see Lisbon.'

Personally I'd need 3 hours back at the airport because my anxiety is a full-time employee.
