made chili for the block party and one guy asked if it was 'supposed to be sweet'

Reader, it was not sweet. He had apparently put a cinnamon roll ON TOP of his bowl because 'that's how they do it in Nebraska or somewhere.' Then he blamed my chili for the flavor journey. I am still recovering.
