found a used bookstore copy with somebody's grocery list still inside and now i love strangers a little more

The list had onions, aspirin, cereal, and just "party??" with two question marks. Book was a mystery novel from 2004 and somehow the whole thing made my afternoon.

I leave bookmarks in library books sometimes by accident and now I feel connected to the tradition.
