13 year old poodle had the dental despite the heart murmur and came through okay

I agonized over this for weeks. Pre-op workup, internal medicine consult, anesthesia talk, the whole spiral. She had several rotten teeth and I knew delaying wasn't kind either. Picked her up this afternoon and she is currently offended by the soft-food menu but much more comfortable already.

My murmur dog also did okay with a specialist watching the plan. Modern anesthesia is not magic but it's not the same as 20 years ago either.
