DCA every Friday, boring on purpose

I've been auto-buying a little bitcoin every Friday morning since late last year. Nothing huge, just an amount I won't miss if my car decides to become dramatic.

The weird thing is boring has helped more than any 'strategy' I tried before. I used to wait for the perfect dip, then either freeze or buy after a green candle because monkey brain. Anybody else intentionally make it boring?

Tried swing trading for 3 months and ended up basically recreating DCA with more anxiety.

I switched to monthly because exchange fees on weekly buys were annoying, but same concept.
