any EU investors get annoyed seeing people recommend US dividend stocks like taxes don’t exist?

Maybe mild rant. I like reading income-investing threads but half the suggestions are built around assumptions that just don't map neatly to me in Spain. Between withholding, broker access, paperwork, and small account size, the whole thing looks less shiny.

Did that push any of you toward simpler local or broad-fund setups?

The online investing world is very America-main-character sometimes.

Yep, and the smaller the account, the louder the friction feels.

I love reading US dividend threads the same way I love reading camper van builds. cool, but not my life.

Right. being technically able to do something doesn't mean it's helpful.

Yes. A lot of 'simple' strategies are only simple inside the country they were born in.

From Italy: broad ETFs won mostly because admin friction was eating my enthusiasm.
