confession: i buy pretty hardcovers and then read the beat-up library copy

I want the sprayed edges goblin edition on my shelf, but if im actually dragging something into bed or onto the train, its the library paperback with the weird plastic jacket every time.

Feels mildly fake-book-person of me.
