first week with a senior corgi and I am apparently a hospice foster failure

first week with a senior corgi and I am apparently a hospice foster failure
Adopted a 12-year-old corgi named Mabel after telling myself I wanted 'easy and temporary.' She follows me from room to room, sighs dramatically if dinner is two minutes late, and has fully rearranged my heart.

I foster-failed a 13 year old and the house got quieter but somehow fuller? hard to explain

Does she do the little huff if you stop petting too soon?

YES. And she somehow makes it sound personal.

Thank you for taking the older dog. Seriously.
