Antikythera mechanism made me rethink a small assumption that actually stuck

en.wikipedia.org

I started this because my lunch break felt a little stuck, and facts seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 7 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

I disagree a bit. mechanism matters, but the bigger issue is usually expectations. The low-effort version is probably the keeper.

This made me smile more than expected. This is where I would ask one more question before choosing.

Big fan of this approach. I noticed the same thing in Kuala Lumpur.
